As you go through the Mythos, you will encounter Dremora calling themselves "Shardborn". When you reach the Vaults, you will reach Torvesard who remembers something important:

Torvesard: "I remember our realm—Mirrormoor! Ithelia's servants awaken!"

Torvesard: "My apologies, mortal. They see anyone marked by Mora as a foe, and I have no time to tell them any different."

You will need to defeat Dexxiuk to progress.

During the fight, Dexxiuk will periodically become invulnerable and summon waves of Clan Shardborn Dremora, Glass Fragments and Mirrorplasms. They will need to be defeated to remove the Mantikora's shields.
